Frequently Asked Questions

When Should I book my Hairstylist?

Like everything it is very much up to you when you book anything for your Wedding Day. On average my clients book with me around a year in advance. I do take on last minute bookings and will do my best to accommodate where I can.

How do I book you?

You can book with me via my website contact form, once you have filled out the information and sent that over to me I can check my availability and confirm your date.

How do I secure my Wedding Date?

Once I have checked the availability I will send you your deposit invoice. Once this is paid and received then this means your Wedding Date is secure and your day is booked with me. The deposit is non-refundable/non-transferable and your Wedding Date is NOT secure without the payment being received

.

Do prices change depending on the length of hair?

In short, no. The prices do not change depending on the length of the hair. My prices not only reflect time they reflect, skillset, knowledge and product costs. Regardless of the hair’s texture or length the cost will remain the same.

Do I need a Trial? Is it necessary?

Yes, your trial is an absolute necessity. I do not offer Wedding bookings without a trial unless it is extremely last minute and/or abroad.

Trials are not only a fun, exciting way of trying out all the ideas in your head for the last year, it is a great opportunity to meet me and make sure we are a great fit together. It is not a good idea to leave your hair choice or any choice for your wedding to the last minute.

Trials also give your stylist essential information when it comes to styling and timings. We talk about timings and form a schedule for the morning so that we can keep everything on track. We are definitely the un-sung heros of the morning!

How far in advance do I need to book my trial?

I advise to book your trial at least 3-6 months before your wedding date. Once you have your date secured with me that is when most Brides get their trial booked in.

How many styles can I try at my trial?

On average trials last around 2 hours for the Bride and 1 hour thereafter for bridesmaid/mum etc. In this time we normally cover a couple of styles but this does depend on quite a few factors, the complexity of the styles you have chosen, the thickness of your hair etc. Some clients choose to have a second trial if they feel it to be necessary.

Who do I bring with me?

This is an easy one for me, make sure you bring a loved one who you value the opinion of, less is definatley more in this case!
